3 Phase Electrical Service

REMC is here to bring the 3 phase service across the road. This is the first step in upgrading the electrical service. We will soon replace the transformer and complete the 3 phase service.

The weather is still wonderful. We haven't received any rain since the lumber package (with one slight exception)

Brick has begun

What a difference this will make compared to the vinyl siding that was originally there. The neighbors should be happy.

This was an exciting delivery to receive!

It now will not be mistaken for a business. Looks great!

Slow progress at the sewer

We had the manhole delivered. We are pat all the utilities so it seems to be slightly faster than before. This is day 4 on Hoe Ramming.

The mechanical mezzanine is dry-walled and finished

Insulation, Drywall, Electrical and Plumbing begins

We are dry-walling the mechanical mezzanine to allow for installation of the mechanical units, ductwork, and schedule 40 sprinkler pipe

The studs and electrical boxes have been marked on the floor to insure that no electrical boxes are covered up and to have a visual of what is in the wall.

Still no rain in sight.

Misc. Framing Complete

New steeple base is framed

New folding partition framing and font walls

Commercial tyvek installed

Straight shingle rows!!

This is really unfortunate. This is out 3rd day hoe ramming rock and we've only moved 15-20'. The operator was telling me how he's operated a Hoe Ram for years and can never remember getting into rock this hard. The good news is: The micropiles go 10' into this bedrock....It's not going anywhere!

Roofing

Roofing is in progress. We have not received any rain since the lumber package showed up and now we're covering it up!

Oh No, We've hit rock

While attempting to hook up the sanitary sewer we have unfortunately hit solid bedrock. We estimate that we will have to remove an area of roughly 2'x2'x150' plus a few larger areas for manholes. We are monitoring the vibrations to insure that there is no damage to the neighboring homes. I met the neighbors and explained what we are doing and was greeted by very friendly people.

In other news, we are installing the fiberglass columns!

Roof framing complete and ready for sheathing

New dumpster pad

It is great to see the font coming together. I understand that during the construction of this first phase, they deciding to give up brick and a font in order to use that money for the Temple. It is great to now be giving them their baptismal font!
